Landmark deal for keepITsafe
27 September 2009

Landmark Technologies has signed a deal with keepITsafe to provide online back-up to its managed services customers over two years. Under the terms of the deal, Landmark’s customers will have the option of managed and monitored online back-up services.

‘‘Our customers will have a fixed cost with the keepITsafe solution. As there are no hardware or set-up costs, the pricing is extremely transparent. All business owners are planning to be successful and respond quickly to economic changes. Strategic investment in IT will play a key role in this, especially in the area of online back-up," said Ken Kelleher, managing director, Landmark Technologies.

‘‘Our customers are relying on us to present them with the latest technologies that will safeguard their businesses. The aim of keepITsafe and the solution it offers is to lower the cost and management of backup and storage for users.

‘‘The main motivator behind partnering with keepITsafe was to offer our customers a service that gave them a 100 per cent guarantee their critical data was available to them at all times. In the event of a disaster – theft, file corruption – I know that the data can be restored through keepITsafe."

Established in 2003, keepITsafe provides a remotely managed online alternative to traditional back-up. The company employs seven staff and has an annual turnover of €800,000.

‘‘The purpose of keepITsafe is primarily to enable business recovery in the event of a disaster. We are in business to make sure that no one ever loses a file again," said Jonathan Crowe, technical director, keepITsafe.

‘‘We are on target to reach 2,000 clients and 200 IT partners by the end of the year, and increase our turnover to €1 million by year end."
